Proxy Switchy! ist ein erweiterter Proxy Manager für Google Chrome
Mit ProxyThisPage ist bereits eine Erweiterung für Google Chrome erschienen, mit der sich auf einfache Weise eine einzelne Seite durch einen Proxy besuchen lässt. Proxy Switchy! ist dagegen ein sehr mächtiger Proxy-Manager, der ähnlich wie schon FoxyProxy für Firefox eine Vielzahl von Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten bietet.
So lassen sich Profile erstellen, zwischen denen jederzeit hin- und hergeschaltet werden kann. Außerdem lassen sich mit Hilfe von Wildcards und regulären Ausdrücken URL-basierte Regeln für die Nutzung der einzelnen Profile erstellen. Ein Shortcut, um die aktuelle Seite mit einer neuen Regel zu belegen steht ebenfalls zur Verfügung, genauso wie eine Import- und Exportfunktion aller Proxy-Profile, Regeln und Optionen.
